Dr. Saroj Kumar Das Majumdar, presently Additional Professor, Oncology Department, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar, has about 25 years of national and international experience in Cancer patient care, teaching and research. Prior to Joining AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, Dr. Majumdar worked in AIIMS, Delhi; King Fahad Specialist Hospital, Saudi Arabia; and Salmaniya Medical Complex, Bahrain. During last ten years he has completed 12 clinical trials and published more than 90 articles in national and international journals.

After the secondary and higher secondary schooling in Bhograi and Balasore respectively, he pursued his MBBS and MD from SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack. He got trained at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, USA as an International Cancer Research Technology Transfer Fellow, before working as a Senior Research Associate at the AIIMS, Delhi.
