Dr Majumdar has been engaged for the last few years in improving health, education and quality of life of deprived people in his area.
Scholarships have been set up in 3 schools, Bholanathvidyapitha, Jagannathpur high school, DihaKakhra ME School, Bhograi.
He provided a school room in an underdeveloped school, DihaKakhra, Bhograi.
Provided sports equipment to Bajitpur School, Bhograi/
Donated for toilets, making houses and financial help for treatment of needy patients in higher centers for my village people at Bajitpur, Bhograi.
He regularly undertakes a multispecialty health camp in his village and nearby villages and schools for over 12 years now (2009 onwards). Every year these camps help over 3000 patients. Free investigation, free spectacles and super specialist consultation for poor people is all provided to these patients from personal funds.
Dr Majumdar has also been providing yearly financial support and medical books to poor medical students as part of a concerted effort by established persons from Odia society to help underprivileged students.
